Empowering Equitable Homeownership
Welcome to the Equitable Homeownership Collaborative (EHC), an innovative initiative dedicated to closing the racial homeownership and wealth gaps. Established by the Housing Partnership Network (HPN), EHC is leveraging the collective power of mission-driven Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), to break down barriers to homeownership for traditionally underserved communities. With a combination of an aggregation and liquidity strategy and specially designed mortgage products, EHC aims to provide flexible financing solutions that empower individuals and families—particularly those of color—to achieve sustainable homeownership. Together, we are working to make homeownership more accessible, affordable, and equitable for all.
Who We Are
EHC and HPN brought together a coalition of eight mission-driven organizations united to make homeownership accessible and equitable for all. With a shared focus on tackling systemic obstacles, we combined our expertise and resources to develop forward-thinking financial solutions. We have developed the Inspire100 loan product to provide fair financing to underserved communities. We remain committed to breaking down barriers and creating pathways to homeownership, through innovative product development and scaling of our efforts to reach more individuals and families through the coalition's growth.
Our Purpose

Our mission is to create innovative, scalable solutions that make homeownership more accessible and equitable, particularly for underserved communities, borrowers of color, and low-wealth borrowers. Through EHC, HPN is harnessing the collective expertise of our esteemed partners—eight mission-driven Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) - not just to break down individual barriers but drive systemic change across the housing finance landscape.
